Bloom Groups were created to address the gender gap in community programs, providing girls ages 11–20 with a safe, supportive space where they can engage, learn, and thrive on their own schedules. Recognizing that many girls face barriers to participation, such as family responsibilities or school routines, Bloom Groups meets them where they are, hosting groups outside of market days and prime household chore times.

Each summer, the program runs a six-week series of engaging activities designed to nurture the whole girl. Participants take part in Bible studies, health education sessions, self-care workshops, creative crafts, and fitness activities. These experiences help girls develop practical skills, build confidence, strengthen their spiritual and physical health, and form lasting friendships. Beyond skill-building, Bloom Groups fosters a sense of community, empowering girls to support one another and embrace their potential, even outside the classroom.

By participating in Bloom Groups, girls gain tools, knowledge, and encouragement that equip them to navigate life’s challenges while growing in faith, leadership, and self-worth.
