Hibiscus Job Creation Initative

Our job creation program is growing. We started with kalbas earrings and now have another young lady employed to create earrings made out of tap-tap tires and a another lady employed to make earrings and bracelets out of Job Tears Seeds. Aside from jewelry making, we employ two additional young women; one who narrates a Biblical Haitian Kreyol YouTube channel and one who designs t-shirts. Employing women in third world countries is crucial for economic empowerment. Our goal is to expand this program and hire more women, enabling them to support their families.

Bloom Groups

Fleri Cheri founded Bloom Groups to address the gender gap in attendance at community programs. Recognizing that many women couldn't participate due to evening commitments, Bloom Groups now accommodate their schedules. These groups offer Bible studies, health education, self-care discussions, crafts, and fitness activities. With three weekly sessions already established, Fleri Cheri aims to expand to include more groups this year.

Starry Night Cinema

Starry Night Cinema is designed to empower mothers by granting them some well-deserved free time. This monthly event creates an opportunity for moms to unwind in the evening while their children enjoy watching a movie together under the open sky.
Education Passport

The Education Passport fundraiser supports single mothers in Haiti, where education isn't free and costs exceed what most earn monthly. Many families face tough choices about which child can attend school. This program ensures mothers don't have to make such decisions, recognizing education as the pathway out of poverty.

Kids Kingdom

Kingdom Kids, a program launched in collaboration with a local Haitian church, teaches children about Christ in their native language using Jesus Storybook Bible in Haitian Kreyol. It provides a meaningful break for mothers during service, enabling them to focus on their spiritual growth without interruptions.

Verse & Volleyball

In Haiti, where boys often dominate soccer fields, we're reshaping the narrative. Before hitting the volleyball court, girls will gather to learn a Bible verse. This unique combination of physical activity and spiritual learning empowers them, breaking stereotypes and promoting equality in sports.
