At Fleri Cheri, we’re passionate about placing Haitian Creole Children’s Bibles in the hands of kids across central and southern Haiti. These Bibles are often only available through limited pre-orders, so we host bi-yearly fundraisers to make sure local churches have what they need to share God’s Word with the next generation.

One of the most powerful and faith-building parts of our Bible fundraiser journey has been watching God show up with perfect timing and provision, not just once, but twice.

 

As we prepared for our last shipment of Bibles to come into the country, we began reaching out to local churches in our new community to start organizing distribution. The very first church we spoke to told us they had exactly 32 families with children, the exact number of Bibles in two full boxes.

 

We didn’t plan that.

We didn’t know that.

But God did.

 

It was such a clear reminder that God sees every child, every family, and every need, even before we do. He works through the details in ways we couldn’t orchestrate ourselves. That moment of alignment confirmed again that we’re simply partnering with Him in something so much bigger.

 

But this wasn’t the first time it happened.

 

Earlier this year in Jacmel, our Kids Kingdom program church was scheduled to receive Bibles. At first, we had raised enough to purchase 32, which seemed like the right amount based on the number of children we expected. But before the shipment arrived, the pre-order link unexpectedly reopened. Even though we were fundraising for other projects at the time, Angelica felt led to act. Trusting her gut and the Spirit’s nudge, we launched a quick second round, and raised funds for 28 more Bibles, totaling 60.

 

When it came time to distribute the Bibles that Sunday, 60 turned out to be the exact number of families with childrenpresent that day. We later learned that many of those families had just recently arrived from the Gressier area, displaced by violence. Once again, we didn’t know, but God did.

 

He made a way, and He used your generosity to do it.

 

These moments remind us that this isn’t just a fundraiser, it’s a faith journey. One where every Bible placed into a child’s hands is part of a much bigger story that God is writing.
